Caramel bread pudding

Caramel Bread pudding is easy and  yummy desert kids loves.




INGREDIENTS

Bread slices - 4 nos
Milk - 1.5 cups
sugar - 1/2 cup
Milk - 2 cups
Milk maid - 1/4 cup or 1/3 cup of sugar
Egg - 2 nos
Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon

Method for caramel

Take a flat bowl, grease it with ghee or butter. keep it ready.
Add  1/2 cup of sugar and 3 tablespoons of water into a pan, stir it continuously until to turns brown color, now transfer into a greased bowl immediately. Rotating the bowl carefully, so caramel covers the entire bottom. Keep it aside.






Preparation

 Boil the milk, let it cool.
Remove the edges from the bread. grind it. Keep it aside.


In mixing bowl add two eggs, whisk it well.


Then add  thick milk, 1/3 cup of sugar or milk maid, vanilla extract and grinded bread, mix it well.

Add Milk

Add milk maid or sugar


Add vanilla essence
Add  bread
Mix it


Pour the mixture onto the caramel sauce bowl.

                        

Cover this mixture bowl with aluminium foil. Now place this bowl into a vessel, partially submerged. Cover this pan with lid. 





Stream for 40 to 45 minutes. Insert knife into the center comes out barely clean. Do not over cook.
Pudding is ready. Before serving, refrigerate it for 2 hours.







serve it cool
