Milk Sponge cake

Hi Today's recipe i have prepared milk sponge cake in cooker or oven. it comes very well. Ingredients All purpose flour - 100 gm sugar -100 gm egg - 3 nos butter - 100 gm milk - 100 gm vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon Baking powder - 1 teaspoon Preparation  Separate  egg white and egg yolk in mixing bowls.   Blend the egg white with sugar using blender, Add 3 portion of sugar, blend it for 5 minutes, until to get creamy consistency keep aside. Whisk the egg yolk in the bowl until it turns light yellow. Melt butter with milk.    Mix the ingredients, butter, milk, egg yolk, vanilla essence. Then sieve, all purpose flour and baking powder in to egg yolk mixture. whisk it thoroughly without lumps. Vada curry

Hi today's recipes is tasty vada curry.  I have prepared very simple and healthy way , Famous in Chennai. I got this recipe from my friend. INGREDIENTS Channa dal - 1/2 cup Onion - 1 big  tomato - 1 big chilly - 3 to 4 based on spice chilly powder - 1 Teaspoon Garam masala - 1 teaspoon Coriander powder - 2 teaspoon Green chilly - 3 to 4 nos Bay leaf - 1 nos Cinnamon - 1 inch Cardamon - 2 nos cloves - 3 nos fennel seeds - 1 teaspoon oil - 3 tablespoon   Preparation Soak the Bengal gram (channa dal) for minimum 1 hr. Grind the Bengal gram with fennel seeds and salt, grind this ingredients coarsely. Make a shape steam it for 10 minutes. Breakdown into tiny pieces. Making masala Heat a oil in a pan,  add bay leaf, cardamon, cloves, cinnamon. saute for seconds.  And then  add thinly chopped onion(julienne cut). To get glass stage. Add salt.   To add tomato smash it, then add coriander powder, chilly powder,green chilly, garam masala.

Prawn thokku

Hi i have prepared  prawn tokku. preparation time 30 minutes. It goes well with biriyani, rasam, sambar. INGREDIENTS Prawn - 250 gm Onion - 50 gm (1 medium size) tomato - 50 gm ( 1 medium size) Coriander - 1 - teaspoon cumin seed - 1/2  teaspoon Fennel seed - 1/2 teaspoon ginger garlic paste - 1 teaspoon pepper - 1 teaspoon cardamon - 2 nos cloves - 2 nos cinnamon - 1/2 inch chilly powder - 1 teaspoon Turmeric - 2 pinch oil - 2 tablespoon salt as required (1 teaspoon) coriander  Preparation Initially to marinate prawn with  chilly powder, salt, turmeric. shallow Fry the prawn for 2 min. and keep aside. Grind a masala powder, cinnamon, cardamon, cloves, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, coriander seeds, pepper. In  pan add chopped Onion, curry leaves, salt, saute with oil. for few minutes, until onion turns glass stage. And add ginger garlic paste. saute for few minutes. Samosa

Hi I have prepared samosa. yummy tea time snack. Indian popular appetizer. you can make any stuffing.  Ingredients for masala Potato - 200 gm ( 2 big) Peas - 50 gm 9 (1/3 cup) Onion - 150 gm (1 big) cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon coriander seeds - 1 teaspoon Ginger garlic  finely chopped - 1 teaspoon chilly powder - 1 teaspoon Garam masala - 1 teaspoon oil - 2 tablespoon salt as required ( 1 teaspoon approx) Coriander chopped Ingredient for dough  Maida ( all purpose flour) - 300 gm (2 cups)  oil - 1/4 cup (60 ml) salt - 1 teaspoon approx sugar - 1 teaspoon (optional) Ajwain- 1 teaspoon Water as required (1 cup approx) making of dough  In mixing bowl add maida, salt, sugar,  ajwain, mix well. Then add oil, Rub the oil with maida for 2 min, To get crispy, and to get Moisture consistency. Add water little by little. Knead for 5 to 10 min. To  get stiffy dough. keep aside. rest for 30 min.
