Badusha recipe, Balushahi recipe



 Badusha is a popular traditional Indian dessert. We all tend to resort to shops to have it. But to the surprise. it is such an easy recipe that could be made at home easily and quickly.  it feels heavenly in your mouth  if consumed fresh.


Ingredients

Maida - 1.5 cup

Butter - 1/4 cup ( 50 gm)

Yogurt - 1/4 cup

Sugar - 1 teaspoon

Milk - 1/4 cup

For sugar syrup

Sugar - 1 cup

Water - 1/2 cup

Cardamom - 3

PREPARATION 

In large bowl, add maida, butter or Dalda, sugar. mix it well. makes a crumble mixture.




Add, curd, combine it well. also add milk, make dough, Do not give more pressure on it. 
Do not knead like chapatti dough.  Knead it gently with fingers.
Make a small balls, roll it gently, do not roll at long time. make a dent. 

Heat a oil in low flame. fry it for 15 to 20 minutes till the badusha turn brown and crisp.


Drop them into a warm sugar syrup ,coat the bhadusha with sugar for both sides. soak it for 5 to 6 minutes,
Finally garnish with pista or any dry fruits.

For sugar syrup
 
Heat a kadai, add 1 cup of sugar and 1/2 cup of water and cardamom. 
Wait till the sugar gets dissolve.

Moong dal dosa

Moong dal dosa Ingredients: Moong dal: 1 cup Red chilli: 2 Garlic: 1 clove Fennel seed: 1 teaspoon Tomato: small piece Salt: as required Oil: as needed Preparation Soak the moong dal in water for two hours. Grind the batter. Drain the water and grind the dal with garlic, red chili, fennel seeds, tomato, and salt. Add water to achieve a smooth batter. The consistency should be neither too thick nor too thin. Fermentation is not required. Allow it to rest for 15 minutes. Prepare the dosa. Heat a cast iron or any dosa pan, add a few drops of oil, and rub the pan with an onion slice or tissue paper. Pour a ladle of batter and spread it in a circular motion to form a thin dosa. (Dosa tawa should be medium heat). Drizzle a few drops of oil or ghee. Cook until the top is golden and crisp. If desired, add toppings such as onion, coriander leaves, and curry leaves.
