potato cheese balls

Potato cheese balls , an easy-tasty yet healthy snack recipe.  We can definitely replace the packed snack items like french fries , smileys etc. on the table with this cheese oozing out small balls, as they just  need around 30 minutes for preparation. Potato cheese balls can be served as a starter in a party or even as a tea time snack. Following these small easy  steps , we can satisfy our kids and our intense cravings healthily at our home.



Ingredients

2 potatoes

1 bread 

Cheese according to your taste (mozzarella or cheddar)

Semolina-1 teaspoon

Chili powder-1 teaspoon

Garam masala-1/2 teaspoon

Coriander leaves 

Bread crumbs

Corn starch - 2 tablespoon

Salt to taste

Procedures

Cornflour mixture

Mix the cornflour and water in the bowl, mix it without lumps, make sure the consistency is not too liquid . 

  1. Take cooked and mashed potatoes in the bowl.

  2.  Add all the spices and coriander leaves, semolina, grinded bread, salt and  Knead it well. 

  3. Roll the potato mixture into the small balls,

  4. Tuck the cheese into the ball roll it again like the cheese don't  come out while frying

  5. Dip the balls in the corn flour mixture. 

  6. Then roll it in breadcrumbs. You can also use corn flakes.

  7. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  8. Fry the balls on medium flame. So that they get cooked evenly.

 

Consume it hot to enjoy the real flavour

Mutton minced dosa / Madurai Kari dosai

   Kari dosa or  mutton keema dosa, Madurai kari dosai is famous in Madurai, a city in the state of Tamil Nadu. Made with mutton keema and mixed spices. We can also make semi mutton gravy and use it as topping which will gives more flavor for the dosai. Kari dosa is served with coconut chutney.  Ingredients for kari dosai Mutton boneless - 200 gram Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon. Onion - 1 no's medium sized Tomato - 1 medium sized. Red chilli powder - ½ teaspoon  Coriander Powder ½ teaspoon Turmeric powder - ¼ teaspoon Garam masala - ½ teaspoon Salt Oil - 2 tablespoon. Curry leaves - 1 bunch. Red chillies - 2 Preparation In the cooker, add red Chilli, Cumin seeds, Curry leaves let it sizzle. Add onion, sauté it, until it becomes translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and sauté it until raw smell comes out. Add finely chopped tomato and sauté for 2 minutes.  Add all masala one by one and mutton pieces. Mix it well.
