Dates cake is a moist soft healthy cake.
Ingredients
Dates - 1 cup (without seeds)
Milk - 3/4 cup
Egg - 1
Yogurt - 1/4 cup
All-purpose flour - 1 cup
Baking soda - 1/4 teaspoon
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Brown sugar - 1/2 cup
oil - 1/3 cup
Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
1/2 cup of walnuts(optional)
Dates preparation
Take out the seeds, soak the dates in the milk or water, for 30 minutes. Adjust the sugar according to the sweetness of dates. Blend the dates.
Wet ingredients
In a large bowl. combine1 eggs Whisk until the color changes. add oil, curd, brown sugar blended dates and vanilla extracts.
Dry ingredients
In a separate bowl, Sieve all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder, and a pinch of salt in the bowl.
Combine wet and dry ingredients
combine all-purpose flour, baking soda, baking powder into wet ingredients, mix it like a cut and fold method. do not overmix.
Transfer it into a loaf pan.
Preheat the oven to 350-degree Fahrenheit, bake it for 40 to 50 minutes until the cake is done. Insert toothpicks and it should come out clean.
Cool it completely and serve with coffee.
