Mutton minced dosa / Madurai Kari dosai



  Kari dosa or  mutton keema dosa, Madurai kari dosai is famous in Madurai, a city in the state of Tamil Nadu. Made with mutton keema and mixed spices. We can also make semi mutton gravy and use it as topping which will gives more flavor for the dosai. Kari dosa is served with coconut chutney. 






Ingredients for kari dosai


Mutton boneless - 200 gram

Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon.

Onion - 1 no's medium sized

Tomato - 1 medium sized.

Red chilli powder - ½ teaspoon 

Coriander Powder ½ teaspoon

Turmeric powder - ¼ teaspoon

Garam masala - ½ teaspoon

Salt

Oil - 2 tablespoon.

Curry leaves - 1 bunch.

Red chillies - 2


Preparation


In the cooker, add red Chilli, Cumin seeds, Curry leaves let it sizzle.



Add onion, sauté it, until it becomes translucent.


Add ginger garlic paste and sauté it until raw smell comes out. Add finely chopped tomato and sauté for 2 minutes.


 Add all masala one by one and mutton pieces. Mix it well. Add sufficient amount of water. Add cococonut


Leave it for 5 whistles. 

Make sure the mutton is soft and tender, Take the lid out Cook the mutton curry in medium flame for 5 minutes in the open pot, then it on low flame for 15 minutes.

Cut the mutton into tiny pieces with a sharp edge spatula.



Finally garnish with curry leaves.

Mutton curry should be thick consistent.

Egg (1 egg for 1 dosai)

Coriander leaves finely chopped 

Pepper powder


Making of curry dosai


Spread the one ladle of dosa not too thick.



Add 1 egg on the top of the dosa spread it.



Add mutton curry on 



Sprinkle some finely chopped onion.



Sprinkle finely chopped coriander leaves, curry leaves and pepper. then flip it over for 2 minutes. Check the dosa is not sticky on the pan.
