Shahi tukda

Shahi tukda is simple and Hyderabad delight. is a mughal dessert. Lets get started.


INGREDIENTS

Milk - 300 ml
Condensed milk - 2 Tablespoon
White bread- 4 to 5
Sugar 1  teaspoon
Ghee as required

PREPARATION

Soak the almond for 30 minutes or over night. Peel the skin.
Grind the almond and milk coarsely. or can also make without almond paste.

  • To make Rabdi, Heat  milk, add 1 pinch of saffron. Add almond paste. 
  •  Heat this in medium flame. To get thick and creamy consistency.
  • Add condensed milk.

  • Toast bread in ghee. 

  • Arrange the bread on plate. pour rabdi onto the bread.

Method 2 

For rabdi  do not use condensed milk. it will gives more sweetness..
  • Fry the bread into the oil in high flame for few seconds. Use fresh oil.
  • Make  sugar syrup. 2cup of water, 1/2 cup of sugar.


  • Dip the bread into the sugar syrup. for 5 minutes. if you want soft dip it for 15 minutes.


  • Arrange the bread on the plate .  Make topping with milk. 

Ready to serve

Thattai recipe

Thattai ! is a traditional south Indian crispy snack, made from rice flour. Thattai originated in Tamil Nadu,  during the festival season. Thattai, murukku or  deep fried recipes  are made in south Indian homes.
